Emmy's 2014

The Emmy's are over and now whe can talk about the dresses. Yes some people don't know how to dress, not even with a stylist. But I'm going to talk about the ones I loved, because there were so many beautiful dresses this year.....

 Samira Wiley (Orange Is The New Black) in a yellow mermaid dress from Christian Siriano. In OITNB she looks boyish and also in real life she likes a comfortable outfit. But even with her short hair and slim body she shows that you can look amazing and really powerful and girly. I'm in love!!!

 

 The hot colors this evening were yellow, black and red. The most difficult of them is red, because of the 'red' carpet. Sometimes the red from the carpet and the red from the dress doesn't match at all. But this Prabal Gurung dress from January Jones (Mad Men) is one bold move and looks amazing. Because of the wide skirt with the short front it's flowing and moving enough. This is a statement dress!

This Giambattista Valli dress from Allison Williams (Girls) is sweet. I like the yellow and black, which gives a nice contrast to the off-white and soft pink.

 

I always like it if people try to do something different from the rest. Deffinetly when it works. And Julia Roberts did a great job by chosing this short dress from Elie Saab Couture. 

Camila Alves was supporting her husband Matthew McConaughey (True Detective) but all the camera's where on her. She makes a see-through dress elegant and stylish and sexy all in one. The dress from Zuhair Murad gets a beautiful lace structure without showing anything we don't want to see.

 

Never ever ever did I think that 'crazy eyes' good look this good! Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black) shows off her curves in this dress from Christiano Siriano. The first time a saw a picture of her as herself I thought: Damn she looks good, what an great actress and congratulations for winning the Emmy award for 'Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series'. Well outstanding and gorgeous you are!

 So this was the best picture I could find from Lena Headey (Game of Thrones). Because this pictures shows the texture on the dress which I love! The layers in this Rubin Singer dress shows the feminime side and the boyish side from Lena.

 

Another yellow dress. This time from Kate Walsh (Fargo). I love the color with her skin and haircolor and the peplum. I think Kate shows her great shape in this beauty from Stephane Rolland.

 

WOW! Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) looks everything but geeky in this Oliver Tolentino dress. It looks a bit like the wedding dress from Kate and the difference between this dress and the one from Julie Roberts is a lot. But I'm just loving it!
