MET Gala 2014: Best Dressed

Last night was the MET Gala in New York.
It is the moment to wear a nice and spectaculair outfit. Ofcourse there are people who don't understand that, and should be in the catogorie worst dress. But now I just want to show you some really nice and gorgeous dresses.

This one from Sarah Jessica Parker isn't my favorite, but I do love the back of the dress. It gives me the feeling of a big princess dress (see the sleeves) but it is appropriate for this evening.

This is another dress with a black and white contrast. Hailee Steinfield looks really pretty in this dress from Prabal Gurung. The black sides are contouring her body. And I think the pink lining is a fun detail! The only downside for me is that Hailee looks a lot older then she is, but when you're a teenager it is difficult to find a dress that suites your age.

Blake Lively was wearing a nude colored dress from Gucci Première. Love the drape from her shoulder and the shape of the dress. You can see her curves! When you see other pictures it looks sometimes a little bit more 'gold', but when I look at this picture I think it's just the right color. But she shouldn't go lighter because then her skin tone will fade away.

Charlize Theron also chose for an black and white dress from Dior. I love the pattern of the black fabric, it gives her body more shape. And in combination with a black jacket that hangs loosely over her shoulders, all I can say is wow!

My best dress look of the evening is Emma Stone in Thakoon. The two colors of pink compliment her light skin, and goes really well with her hair color. The crop top, and high split show some nice skin, but doesn't reveal anything. It's young, basic and fun. I think this is the eperiment you can do with fashion at the MET Gala.

Good job Emma, you look wonderfull!
