So no one is really happy with themselves, that's a fact. But we all have good and bad days. One day I look in the mirror and think: Well it's not that bad! Two days later I think OMG I'm officially fat.
When I read magazines and look at those skinny models (yes I know it's photoshop, but still) I think something went wrong. They have a flawless skin, a cute smile and beautifull shiny hair.
So when there are new fashion trends, I like or hate them. Shoes and accessoiries are not a problem, but clothes....
It just looks differently on a model then it does on me.
I do like the basic shirt with blue stripes. It's light and casual with a jeans and sneakers. But horizontal stripes makes you 'bigger'. So even if I want a striped shirt I'm considering not to buy them, just because I don't want to create a look that makes me fat. The same with crop tops. Who in this world came with this idea? Now I have one hanging in my closet. And that's because I realy like crop tops. So I've tried every single one in every store and finally found one that looked good on me.
I think were not to big for something, but are body type is not always suited for all fashion trends. You can be a size 0 and have really short legs. Or be super tall that you can't find the right jeans length. So it's not about size but about our shape.
Whe have to deal with or body type and choose clothes who embrace our shape. Short or tall, small or bigger. Karlie Kloss is a tall girl but has 0% fat on her body. If you see pictures of her, you don't think she is out of proportion. And that's because she knows what to wear.

My tip: Just go to the store or buy a lot of clothes online, and try them all on. You can find things that will suit you, even if you never thought so. Maybe I will even find a striped shirt!
If we buy clothes that suits our body type, we will be happier. And maybe we will have more days when we think we look good than the days that we don't look good.
